Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

I went with my friend who had a face lift and I had lower eye surgery. Very nice surgeon and staff, the clinic is very clean and mac is so helpful and puts you at ease. The price is brilliant and they do not skip any corners! Highly recommend

Amazing Service Wow where to start. From the first point of contact you hear from the lovely Ilva and she is so lovely and so helpful to talk to. Information provided is easy to understand and follow. Knowing someone is coming to meet you from the Airport when your going on your own is so reassuring. I wasn’t worried at all about going on my own in fact as someone who has anxiety I felt so reassured by Ilva prior to travelling. Hotel was lovely. Test done following morning again Ilva comes to meet pick you up and stays with you the whole time. Then taken to the hospital which is lovely and clean, you get your own private room. Everyone that looked after me was so lovely. You get to see Dr Oleg several times while you in the hospital and he is also brilliant at reassuring you and answering any questions. If I could go back for follow up surgery EG tummy tucks etc in the future the first place I would go is to Ilva and Dr Oleg. I had no complications with my surgery, I was well looked after and I know I can message Ilva when ever I need for support

I recently had a mini tummy tuck performed by the amazing Dr Ozgur Hurkal and his wife. I cannot express my gratitude to both of them and I would like to thank them for the amazing work they did and how they took such great care of me before and after the procedure. Their professionalism and expertise were the gold standard and I am so happy with the result. Nahide and all of the hospital staff were amazing and took such great care of me during my stay. I had a gastric sleeve done in May 2019. I have lost just shy of 5 stone in 1 year. I was very hesitant to do the operation at age 22 but it's the best decision I ever made. Mr. Awad was kind and efficient throughout and the Tonic team have been constantly supporting me. The op went very smoothly and the lift to and from the Derby hospital and London was such a considerate feature. The first 3-4 weeks are tough but completely worth it. I'm well adjusted to my new stomach now. I don't feel like I'm deprived of anything. I feel like now my body isn't always working against me and gaining weight disproportionately. I feel totally in control of my weight and have been quite effortlessly shedding kilos! Thank you Mr. Awad & Tonic for getting me to feel like myself again!

I am currently 10 days post-breast augmentation. It has been the best decision I have ever made for myself. The confidence I feel already in myself cannot have a price on. From the start of this journey every single person I encountered has been amazing. My consultation with Dr.Salmon couldnt have gone any better. I came out of it so unbelievably excited to get my operation done. The ladies I have encountered be it the receptionist, the patient Coordinator, the nurses. My hilariously funny anaesthetist have all made this journey so much easier. I am generally a very anxious person but I couldnt believe how calm I was on the day and that is thanks to all these people. The only regret is I didnt get this done sooner. I went to Allmedica, Nowy Targ, Poland in March 2024 for a total knee replacement. From the moment of enquiry, I was gently guided through the process by the professional team there. It was all so easy...and very affordable. It is now almost 5 weeks later and I'm already walking without aid and am far more comfortable than before. I want to send my thanks to everyone involved in ending the pain I've lived with for the past 4 years. If I had waited for a local hospital to do the operation I would have had at least another year of pain and, if it was anything like when I had my first knee done - I would still be learning how to use crutches! Special thanks go to Beatta for organising everything; Oskar for being the most professional, organised, friendly and efficient host; the nurses who tended to me night and day while in the hospital; the doctors and surgery teams; and to Gorsia for the daily physio regimen. Visited Kaunas Wellness Clinic in Lithuania on 18/04/23 for Breast reduction and blepharoplasty of upper eyelids. Was collected from apartment at 9.30 am on 19th. Had blood tests, ecg at clinic and had as taken for consultation with the Dr I had chosen for my surgery. He listened, advised, talked to me about the operations. Took pictures and marked the area being operated on. I felt very comfortable and in control at all times. The clinic was immaculate and from being collected from the Airport, having bloods, ecg, consultation, to meeting an anaesthetist everything was fully explained and everyone was professional and informative and made sure I was comfortable and calm. The rooms were very clean and had remote controlled beds, T.V and air conditioning. The en-suite was clean and had the basics for showering, tooth brushing and toileting. A call bell was given to me for anything I needed. I was given a gown, slippers and a robe and taken to the theatre ( a short walk) I was reassured and spoken to by the anaesthetist on arrival and a cannula was popped in my arm. I only remember waking up back at in my room, being offered a sip of water and having my blood pressure done every 30 minutes/ or hour automatically. I was given an injection to my stomach to avoid thrombosis and was kept comfortable with meds. At no time was I in any Pain. I was offered more pain killers food and drink every time the nurse came in. I was made comfortable and checked on regularly. I felt ok to use the bathroom and used my phone and watched tv between dozing in and out of sleep. I had a cup of tea as often as I asked and was continually offered food. I slept well thanks to a small sleeping tablet. I was given a lovely breakfast and saw the dr at 9am ish who checked me over and discharged me. At 9.30 am I was taken back to my apartment, with discharge medication, full instructions and dressing change items. The following Day (Thursday) I went for a walk around the Acropolis centre. I had a shower of my body and washed my hair on my return and slept well with the medication provided managing any discomfort. I used their version of Uber (BOT) for taxi and food delivery and it was very reasonable, easy to download and came really quickly. I was more than ready for my flight home Saturday early hours. I was collected at 4.15 am and taken to the airport. Arriving home in Cardiff at 8 am. It’s Sunday and my eyes have caused me no discomfort what so ever. I changed my dressings on my breasts and had a lush shower and washed my hair. I had a little bit of bleeding so used the spray I was given and gauze and reapplied my garment. All is well and I have the discomfort under control. I cannot recommend Dr Karolis Cernauskis enough he is experienced and has written many papers on his expertise in his field. I hope to return to the clinic in 6 months for a thigh lift and lipo in the meantime I will be dieting and recovering to ensure a good result. I had previously had surgery in London and Cardiff, this was obviously closer to home and nearly double the price it was in Lithuania. I also had several bad experiences with my treatment in Cardiff, I found their technique to be antiquated and the group not as thorough or experienced. Perfect experience right from the get go to the aftercare. I haven’t noticed a single “red flag” and no doubts crossed my mind during the whole process. I am happy I took this leap, both the Prof. and the whole staff made it, as assured as possible. After two years of having gastric sleeve surgery done I have continued my life as an healthy young adult, not held up by my weight (140kg 1.79cm, now 70kg) or my mental image of myself.
