Patients should sleep with their head elevated for three days to keep down any swelling. Patients should avoid touching or scratching the area until the wound is completely healed.

The guys at Skin Clinic were absolutely brilliant. Very welcoming, gave me some very useful advice and treatments to try before I felt the need to have treatment there and even gave me a lift to the train station as my taxi was delayed in Storm Dennis! Lovely people and couldn’t recommend enough.

Mole Removal from £225
Mole removal is a fairly painless process. Anaesthetic crème is applied approximately 30 mins -1 hour before treating.   Multiple moles can be treated during the 15 minute session at no additional cost.  Following treatment the area will be a little red and the mole will gradually dry out forming a scab.  It is very important that this scab comes away of its own accord as premature removal could result in the area scarring.  Also if the mole is large or deep a second  or third treatment might be required to fully remove it. Moles are removed using shortwave diathermy with galvanic current.
Mole Assessment from £50
Mole Mate Screening service.  A picture is taken of the mole it is then run through our computer system which performs various diagnosistic tests analysizing vasular activity, collagen & dermal melanin resulting in a Hunter score. Removal of the mole can also be carried out at the clinic.

Absolutely fantastic service. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and put you at ease completely. I saw Dr Syed Mashhadi and Gabriella, and they were both amazing. They helped me with everything, told me what they were doing throughout, and were able to answer all of my questions. They were constantly checking on me and making sure I was okay throughout the procedure. Each time I came back, they recognised me and we had a chat about the previous appointment, which made me feel great. The receptionist (unfortunately I did not get her name) was also extremely kind and the whole surgery has a very warm and welcoming approach. When booking, the response time was very quick, and again they answered all of my questions very quickly and happily. I truly cannot put my recommendation of this clinic into words, it was beyond amazing for me! Thank you to all of those involved!

During the first visit the patient will have a full consultation with Dr Farrell to cover their skin concern. If appropriate, Dr Farrell may also examine other sites of the skin, as sometimes other sites of the body can be similarly affected. (e.g. in the case of sun damage). Dr Farrell with discuss with you the diagnoses, relevant investigations and treatment plan. Some investigations can be done on the day but others may need approval from your insurance company . Dr Farrell will also suggest a treatment plan and provide relevant information leaflets. The clinic also has available on site many of the products that may be required as part of the treatment plan and we can dispense these on the day. We also provide a postal service so that repeat requests for product can be supplied. Dr Farrell will usually also follow up the consultation with a typed report which will be posted to you within a few days summarising the discussion. Dr Farrell usually writes to your General Practitioner with her recommendations and a copy is sent to you. If you are attending for purely a cosmetic reason and do not wish Dr Farrell to write to your GP then she will respect your wishes, but if you wish she will send a recommendation of treatments to you. If you are funding the consultation and treatment through insurance it is important that you obtain an authorisation number for the consultation before the visit. Mole Removal from £280
We use advanced thermocoagulation for mole removal which involves an electrical current flowing through a tiny needle which generates heat and is applied to the skin lesion. We would use a local anaesthetic injection to numb the area. This technique has a superior aesthetic outcome compared with other treatments. The first thing to do would be to book in for a FREE consultation to assess the lesion and make sure it is something we can treat. The cost is £280 per mole. We send off a portion of all moles removed to the laboratory to screen for any cancerous cells contained within the mole. If you would like to go ahead with booking an appointment, please contact our reception team   
Skin Tag Removal from £150
