Dr. Basha has had extensive training in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgical techniques in Dublin. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He is a member of The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO) as well as a member of the Saudi and UAE General Laparoscopic Surgeon Association. He currently carries out hundreds of laparoscopic obesity and general surgical procedures per year and has gained a reputation for his safety during performing surgery, with a very low complication rate and a zero mortality rate around the region (Syria, Saudi Arabia & UAE ). Dr. Avcı received her medical doctorate degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed her Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery specialization at Koşuyolu Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital. She studied body and breast shaping aesthetics at the University of Michigan (USA). She served as a founding faculty member in the Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine.
