GASTRIC SLEEVE SURGERY - 29th June 2022. After a rigurous research to find a good Clinic and the most important for me was a good and trustful Doctor with a good Team. I had the best experience with DR CENK SOGUKPINAR and his Assistant Mrs. SEVIM. Sevim picked me up from the airport all travel and food was provided, she is a wonderful person whom made me feel very welcome and speaks the best English. In the Thirth day after surgery Sevim took me out in the city to Hair Styling, and spend precious time with me, like old friends. Dr CENK came to see me every day I spend in the Hospital, sometimes two times a day, and make me feel safe and not alone. I had other esthetic ops before in other countries, but this time was the best experience. I am feeling good until now, I don't have any complications. I don't need any pain killer, no vomiting, no nausea, no reflux and the Scars are very small without infection. I am very thankful for this experience and I truly recommend to take this journey and choose DR CENK and SEVIM.

But some people worry that if they haven’t been able to stick to a diet before, why would weight loss surgery work for them now? Gastric Sleeve Surgery works in two ways. It removes 80-85% of the stomach and also removes the hunger hormone called ‘grehlin’. Our surgeons prefer sleeve over bypass surgery unless there is a medical reason you cannot have the sleeve. Gastric Bypass essentially bypasses the stomach and a new pouch is created to act in place as your stomach. Due to this, you will be required to take multivitamins for life as the new pouch may not absorb the nutrients from food correctly. Bypass is a much longer operation than the sleeve and requires more recovery time after surgery.

Gastric sleeve is a simple procedure. We access the abdominal area laparoscopically (keyhole surgery) and remove about 80% of the stomach by cutting it along its length. After sleeve surgery, the food you eat enters and exits the stomach via the same places as before (unlike gastric bypass), but you have a much smaller stomach. Der Arzt ist auf diesem Gebiet einer der besten in der Türkei, da er sehr viele Patienten operiert und sehr routiniert ist. Ich muss sagen, dass Organisation, der Transfer, das Hotel, die OP und die Nachsorge durch die Ernährungsberatung wirklich reibungslos geklappt hat. Das ganze Team arbeitet sehr professionell und gut organisiert. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bei den Ernährungsberaterinnen, Bahar und Selvi bedanken… beide sind wirklich super lieb und immer da, falls man Fragen hat oder etwas benötigt.
