I had sleeve gastrectomy surgery and my family members had eclipse balloons. It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. They've been very meticulous and professional in attending to our medical needs. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs such professional medical attention and hygiene at very affordable prices. 😀

Had a great experience, from the pre-op consultations, to being picked up at the airport and drop-off on my way back. The service at the hospital was great, the staff were nice and the environment was clean. I was looked after all the days I was there. And everything went smoothly. Omer was really helpful throughout the whole process even when I came back home they checked up on me.

Dr Cem, Almira, Zeynep, Gökçe and the hospital team were brilliant for my entire bypass process. From booking to arriving in Istanbul I was greeted by the most beautiful Maybach van to travel to the hospital with another patient, who I am still in contact with 3 months later as we share our journeys! I was taken to a very smart and clean private hospital room where all of my observations were done by quick and talented nursing staff. We were then whisked away to see the cardiologist attending, have x-rays done and sign all of our elective forms subject to satisfactory results from pre-op testing. The surgeon will not proceed with any kind of procedure if these do not come back as satisfactory! It's important to note I was not asked to pay any more than my deposit until it had been confirmed that I was going ahead with the operation and all test results were accepted. I slept in the hospital overnight. The bed was pretty unforgiving on my poor hips but all hospital beds are the same! Designed for function, not comfort. The next morning I saw Dr Cem again to confirm I would be the second one going under for the op day, so took the chance to wish my new room neighbour good luck as he was going first. The surgery itself was over in a flash. I had a slight added complication that the top of my belly is surprisingly narrow underneath that chunky layer of fat and I think they had to move a few things around a bit to get the job done. The surgeon was great though, I came away with 4 tiny cuts and one drainage pipe. The drainage is removed after about two days, it can be a nuisance to tote around but it has a clip attached to it so you can hook it onto your clothing. The nurses are incredibly attentive and will do anything for you. I was never short of water or pain relief after my op. The night nurses check on you religiously through the early hours. I found it very hard being able to only sleep on my back for long periods. With a bit of Google Translate's help, I was provided with extra pillows to support my arms and blankets. The view and noises from the window were really good. You'll hear the call to prayer countless times during your stay and the area is peaceful and respectful around the hospital. There was never any shouting or honking etc, all very relaxing. The blinds in the room were thankfully adjustable as Turkish mornings are very bright! The nurses will have you up and walking in a matter of hours after the surgery. The private wing is quiet and calming, you have a grab rail along the entire hallway to cling to if needed and plenty of chairs to rest on! It also gives you a chance to socialise a bit with other patients. We had me, an Englishman, a Welsh couple, and a Polish lady all in the same corridor. There are only about 8 suites in the wing, and it's keypad locked so there's no one without a purpose wandering past your room! I saw Dr Cem multiple times during my stay. He made a point of visiting to have a chat at least once a day with all of his patients, and he's a kind and knowledgeable man. His English and German are both good and with the help of Google Translate, we had some good conversations about the next steps. After 3 nights in hospital, my neighbour and I were given a very comprehensive rundown on vitamins, shakes, liquid diets, probiotics and medication before being transported to the hotel for the remainder of our stay. You'll receive blood thinners, painkillers, stomach protectors, bandages, you name it! You'll also be added to a personalised WhatsApp group with your surgeon, coordinators and nutritionist. Gökçe reminds you every day of changeover when it comes to amping your food intake back up and provides helpful menus. I lived on kefir and high protein yoghurt for the first few weeks due to some med withdrawal issues. Things to note: - You'll be in a good amount of discomfort for a few weeks. - You will get constipated - You won't shower from the morning of your surgery until you get to the hotel. Take antiperspirant and easy changes of clothing to stay fresh! - Istanbul is buzzing and vibrant, but you may not get the opportunity to explore post-surgery. - Remember to book your flight assistance for the trip back! Better to have it and not need it than vice versa. The coordinators deserve medals. Almira was omnipresent and so sweet. There was nothing too much for her if you asked. Zeynep had her conversion sleeve to bypass surgery the day before we arrived and she was still there to greet us and see us off while she was recovering too, which I appreciated the effort her seeing as she should have been at home in bed! If you're concerned about doing it, don't be. There was never a moment where I didn't feel completely safe. I am now 35kg lighter after 3 months and I look forward to a bright future. SW: 154KG

I had my surgery ten days ago and this was so easy no pain and I started to walk immediately after the operation 5 days later I started to work again but you do not have to wait, after 5 days you can start to work again. Now I lost weight and this continues. I feel happy since then.

Wow, what can I say? I had the best experience thanks to bridge health travel (Irem) everything was discussed before I even got a on a plane. As soon as you get to the medstar hospital Irem will be waiting for you with a smile!! You are admitted straight away and the tests begin (they don't waste any time) after my surgery I was always checked on by the nurses/my surgeon and Irem. Going abroad for surgery scared the life out of me but now that I've experienced it I would 100% recommend and go back again! Words fail me to adequately explain or describe how this Uber-talented cosmetic surgeon has changed my life. I found my dental unicorn. They are truly sculptors, and artists while chiselling a beautiful smile. Amazing to possess the talent and ability to transform a person's face and smile. It's plastic surgery for the mouth. I must have said thank you 1,000 times. I found plenty of dentists who could do the work in the USA, but the quotes $$$ were astronomical. On average 2K per TOOTH. I did some patchwork with bonding, just to appease myself, with low-yield results. My dentist here in Utah is well-published and reviewed, but I just could not afford him. My cousin from New Jersey went to this practice. The workmanship was outstanding! His USA quotes ran in the 25-30Ks. He required so much work. His cost was less than 10K. I EXHAUSTED poor Dr. Burak from Medhera Health Clinic with my inquiries, questions and concerns via video chats. God bless his patience! I am a very particular person with a keen eye and he learned that quickly. So I made the final decision to go. There are only four things in my 46 years I am most grateful and this duo is one of them. The care and staff were stellar from day one. They use high-quality material E-Max. When I went for my cleaning back in the States my prestigious USA cosmetic dentist. even said, it was a very good job, although I could see he was struggling to utter those words. He took pictures LOL. This brings me to the next topic, travel in Antalya. I loved my boutique hotel. Perfectly situated in walking distance great restaurants. Yes, I walked too many of them even at night LOL. I can give recommendations. I walked to the Mall and spent a day in a Spa ( at my own expense). As with ALL places in the world, you have to be vigilant and wise. BEST DECISION EVER !! You will NOT regret it.

I had VSG with Clinichub on the 12/10/2020 and I couldn’t be happier with my results and the service I received from Clinichub. Fantastic clinic. I came to get a gastric sleeve and Doctor Bora was perfect! He really knows what he is doing. I felt reassured and clear on what was happening every step of the way. His secretary Faith Oztuk was amazing, always responds fast, regardless of the time I message her. Very organised and I felt very well looked after. Would 100% recommend.

I have just had a gastric sleeve. What an experience from being picked up by Rus in a beautiful air-conditioned luxury minibus to arriving at the hospital and being welcomed by the staff. I showed my passport and gave my details. Then I was taken to my private air-conditioned room with wardrobe and on suite bathroom. I had my blood taken and then told to rest as it was late in the evening. The next morning I was taken for various tests and scans. I also met the surgeon who made me very relaxed and explained everything to me. I was given a gown and surgical stockings. My time came and I had my surgery. The clinic is very professional and the nurses were very attentive. I can’t thank them enough I would highly recommend elective surgery here.

I liked it so much. They were very friendly to me at the beginning, I was in pain but they managed it nicely we all did some exercise together. I am very grateful to everyone.

GASTRIC SLEEVE SURGERY - 23rd March 2022. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every individual who took care of me during my stay at the Anadolu Hastanes Hospital. Thank you to Dr Cenk for his professionalism and service, he made me feel comfortable although I was really nervous prior to my surgery. He is very professional and courteous. A massive Thank You to Sevim (Agent - Co-Ordinator) who made sure all my needs were met with a smile. She is professional, courteous and always returns your messages whenever you need to correspond with her. Totally felt comfortable around her. Highly recommend contacting Savim prior to you booking your Treatment as she is the main person who will be with you throughout your treatment and stay at the hospital. I went on my own, my recommendation is to take someone with you as post-operation you could really do with a close friend or a family member for that emotional roller coaster of post-op effects to really wear off before you start recovering and actually get back on to your own feet. Also, make sure to use Google Translate as most of the nurses DO NOT speak or Understand English so please download Google Translate prior to your operation. I have now lost 13 Kg in just 5 weeks. I would like to Thank You So Much for everything, to the Global Health and BookingSurgery. My coordinator was amazing and answered all questions and doubts, the support was incredible. Because even though my surgery is done, she made herself available if I need any support. I had such an amazing experience during my stay in the Optimed International Çorlu Hastanesi. I had Dr Ali Tardu as my surgeon and he was amazing, very attentive, and checked on me regularly. I can say that I had fun during my stay. All the staff that worked on the 6th floor, Nurses and Housekeepers that were in contact were amazing, friendly, kind, caring and patient. It felt like home. The only "negative" thing was with the kitchen staff from the hospital, not negative but they were not prepared for people with gluten intolerant and vegan. That was mentioned in advance before I booked the surgery and when I arrived at the hospital. With me it was not a big problem because I was not eating but my friend is gluten intolerant and they kept giving her food with gluten, I mentioned it to the staff and they gave her an alternative but not much. The other negative thing was that they did not understand one of my allergies, I mentioned to my coordinator that I have allergies to latex before I booked the surgery and I also mentioned in the hospital when I arrived, but kept using latex gloves during all stay, the only time that did not used was during the surgery because I see them with the latex free gloves and they kept saying no latex.

I had a gastric sleeve in April 2021 with Dr. Osman. Everything was unexpectedly good and I will highly recommend them. They were always checking up on me, the doctor, Melih, and the nurses all were very friendly and at the same time very professional. It's been one year (I've lost 48kg) since I had my surgery and I still receive messages from them to see how I'm doing. The doctor was every time on the phone to answer my questions no matter what time was. He was more a friend than a simply surgeon!!! If you're thinking to have this surgery, this is the place where you should do it.

Everything was so good. I went to Istanbul one month ago for a gastric sleeve. Their pre and postoperative processes was perfect. They always cared about my status. Also, their aftercare services are available for 7/24. I still ask questions whenever I want. I can reach them all the time. After one month, I lost 12 kilos.
