Gastric Bypass Turkey

I had a gastric sleeve a month ago I opted for the robot procedure it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve had the best treatment at the hospital. All the staff were friendly and supportive. All the tests they performed were rigorous and thorough. My surgeon who performed the procedure was Prof Dr Abdulkadir Bedirli he was fabulous from start to finish he came to see me after the opp and then every day to see how I was. The hospital was so clean and tidy- every room had en suite. The nurses were attentive to the patients individual needs. Even the international team who liaised with me from the beginning to the end where fantastic answering all my questions.

Myself and my mum arrived in Istanbul late on Wednesday evening and we were met by Ali who brought us to the hospital, checked me in and ensured I had everything I needed. The lovely nursing team completed all my pre-op tests ensuring I was ready for surgery the following day. Next morning Dr Kaman came to introduce himself to me and explain the operation and that was it is, time for surgery. Post-surgery I am blown away by the care provided to me by Dr Kaman and his team, twice daily visits from the dr’s, and nursing staff continuously ensuring I am ok. My mum has stayed with me in my hospital suite and she has also been looked after wonderfully by the staff. I am ready to go home with medications, post-diet eating plans and the confidence that I know I can call on the team at any time to answer any questions I may have. I cannot recommend Dr Kaman enough… for me this is going to be life-changing, my only regret is, I wish I’d done it years ago! Without a doubt 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

MedAssist made me feel at home! I was surprised how they were with me throughout the procedure. I had a Lasik eye surgery and I am so happy with my result. I can honestly say I was really looked after very well by all the staff and Dr.Gul. It's been a year since I had my gastric bypass operation. Now I've reached my ideal weight, and the great thing about losing weight is that I can easily fit into my small-size dresses, which was impossible in the past. I just came back from clinic yesterday. I felt so good when I arrived in the clinic. I was extremely scared as my first time to have an operation and in a different country. After consulting with HE staff of doctors they explained to me all procedures on arrival I hade - scan, ultrasound, ECG, blood test and endoscopy. The next day came in the man himself doctor Hasan Erdem and he explained that all tests from yesterday came good so you can decide by your self, and I’m glad I did. So I went for surgery that day and for one day you feel pain after surgery - it's normal. Hospital nurses are fantastic. After care every two hours came to the room measure blood pressure. I was supposed to do in London this treatment and the cost was crazy £ 430 only the dietitian to pay. And surgery £ 6.200 only for a doctor And Hospital £ 8000 for staying in hospital. I saved all this money by going to Turkey. I’m now back home. I'm extremely happy with my decision. Thank dr Hassan Erdem and the Team.
