Hello from the UK, first I should say I'm so thankful to Apera clinic. I've been through a lot recently all these quarantines and lockdowns caused me depression and I started to eat a lot. I was never satisfied with my body in my life and it starts to be even worst since last year so this time I decided to be brave and go through this change. I had gastric bypass 7 months ago This was a little bit hard but now I am really okey I feel better I had ınsulin resistance but now I have not. I am very happy right now.

I had gastric sleeve surgery with Clinic Center 6 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I made! From the moment I contacted them they were really professional, they made me feel at ease by answering all of my questions and giving me lots of information. It was so easy to schedule my surgery with them. When me and my wife arrived in Istanbul they picked us up from the airport and bring us to a very nice hotel. The next day I got to meet my surgeon. He was really nice, calming and professional. All of my anxieties were cleared after meeting the surgeon. My wife was able to stay at the hospital with me for the moral support. I wasn't in pain after the surgery. The nurses were checking up on me a lot. The surgeon came to see me after the surgery as well. They gave me detailed information about what to expect after the surgery. Once I came back home Clinic Center's aftercare team contacted me to check up on my recovery. I was about 330lbs before I had the surgery and I lost 42lbs in 6 months which makes me feel amazing. I'm still losing weight and I cannot wait until I reach my ideal weight. The gastric sleeve weight loss surgery is very life changing and a success. I just went here for my sleeve this week. I can totally recommend it if you are considering this route. Communication from the very start with Fatih was perfect. ( it’s all via Wattsapp but don’t worry about that). Booked my flights, confirmed a date and flew out. My driver met me at 1am but was great. A little daunting the first night checking into a hospital at 2 am when it was so quiet but my driver helped get me settled in. The hospital staff started blood tests and other checks over night. In the morning the Doctor and his team came by. They are all fantastic. Very professional, very calm and made me feel relaxed. Explained what they were about to do and did it. I was asleep in a second and knew nothing till they woke me after surgery. Nurses looked after me really well. Doctor and his team came next day to see me. I was absolutely fine. No pain ( slight discomfort from the gas) I met the nutritionist who gave me information and advice. The next day I was ready in myself to leave. My driver came back, took me to the hotel which was excellent then picked me up the following day to go the airport. He had all the medication I needed in his car for me. I paid one fixed price, paid in cash and everything was great, it really was! I’m home now, feel great. Looking forward to my new life. It’s going to be a bit stressful where ever you go but it’s fine ,book this clinic with total confidence. I spoke to several people that went who told me what I’m now saying. I would like to Thank You So Much for everything, to the Global Health and BookingSurgery. My coordinator was amazing and answered all questions and doubts, the support was incredible. Because even though my surgery is done, she made herself available if I need any support. I had such an amazing experience during my stay in the Optimed International Çorlu Hastanesi. I had Dr Ali Tardu as my surgeon and he was amazing, very attentive, and checked on me regularly. I can say that I had fun during my stay. All the staff that worked on the 6th floor, Nurses and Housekeepers that were in contact were amazing, friendly, kind, caring and patient. It felt like home. The only "negative" thing was with the kitchen staff from the hospital, not negative but they were not prepared for people with gluten intolerant and vegan. That was mentioned in advance before I booked the surgery and when I arrived at the hospital. With me it was not a big problem because I was not eating but my friend is gluten intolerant and they kept giving her food with gluten, I mentioned it to the staff and they gave her an alternative but not much. The other negative thing was that they did not understand one of my allergies, I mentioned to my coordinator that I have allergies to latex before I booked the surgery and I also mentioned in the hospital when I arrived, but kept using latex gloves during all stay, the only time that did not used was during the surgery because I see them with the latex free gloves and they kept saying no latex.

One of the best decisions, if I have ever made in my 30 years of life span, is that almost three months ago, I visited clinic bariatric and did my gastric sleeve. The experience of my surgery was quite good and comfortable. I am more than happy to tell all of you that in just two months I lost 28 kg. The gastric sleeve is the best thing that ever happened to me. Before that, I hesitated about my weight and looks, and now I am living a best and healthy life without any discomfort and hesitation.

I went to Istanbul on January 15th and had surgery on the 16th. I enjoyed a great service and all went very well. The first two days were painful after that it was better every day. After one week I could go home! The transfer, nurse care and overall experience were good.
