I first heard about Dr. Urzola by a random person in Tamarindo so I did some research and found that he has good reviews. I contacted Urzola's office and got very quick responses and quickly noticed that they seem to be very organized. That kind of organization lets me feel a bit more at-ease. I had already gotten a couple quotes from other implant places in the US so I was aware of US prices and being quoted 1/3 what the US price is for the dental work made it a top contender. Shortly thereafter I talked with Dr. Urzola personally about my personal case and my existing implants and he really made me feel at ease. I flew to San Jose, CR late February and spent a week there. They put me under with anesthesia and it was an excellent choice. It's a general anesthesia but not as deep as going in for a surgery. I had no issues with coming out of the anesthesia which was amazing because I have a history of not remembering where I am or having a difficult time coming out of anesthesia. It was a fantastic experience. I had them do full upper and lower implants which meant removing all my existing teeth but leaving in place my current implant posts so they could be reused into the overall mouth reconstruction. After removing my teeth they made me the temporary set which is essentially a type of dentures that is not removable. I left there with TEETH. Going in I had one tooth on the top of my mouth and I left with teeth! So amazing! My mouth surprisingly didn't hurt so much the first week. Granted, I was on pain killers but I expected more pain. One thing I found really interesting is that Dr. Urzola stitched my gums together after placing some implants under the gums and that seemed to *really* help with healing and keeping food and bacteria out of the sockets. I went back 2 weeks ago and got the finals and WOW! Let me tell you their zirconia finals are GORGEOUS. Seriously terrific! I'll be honest, my second trip hurt more than the first because they had to open up the gums to get to the implants placed under the gums and those hurt because of inflammation when they tighten the implants down to it. It's to be expected and I had them put them on without anesthesia so that I wouldn't be bothered with numb lips. Basically, I didn't have to hurt if I wasn't being vain but I really wanted to see my smile with lips that moved freely. I'm glad I did it this way because it allowed me to feel really comfortable with the fit and really lowered my anxiety even if it hurt (A LOT). If you don't like pain... just have them numb the gums and you'll be far better off. They offered several times... I just turned it down. I did get to see the lab while I was there and I'm really impressed. It really is right next door to their office and the lab is outfitted with everything needed to do the zirconia including the initial blank cutting and the baking of the teeth at 938 degrees F. It was really great being able to see the lab, especially because I'm into 3D printing and I understand how the tooling the lab has works. The whole staff at Urzola Dentistry is fantastic. I absolutely loved my experience at Marietta Dental Clinic! The dentists were very professional and friendly and we enjoyed some good laughs. I am 69 years old and it was the most productive and painless and actually enjoyable dentist experience that I have ever had. I will go back to Marietta in June for my permanent crowns and my implant. I am looking forward to it!

Dr Guillermio Marquez Reyes is amazzing. Befor I became a nurse I was a Dental assistant so I sort of knew a few things. He has saved my teeth, and improved my bite. I sure wish could find a doctor I have as much faith in as I do in this dentist. If I move across the country I will still come to see him. He has been my dentist for amost 15 years.

I had only a few days left in Costa Rica but wanted to get a couple of replacement mouth guards. I used the WhatClinic site and found that Prisma Dental had good reviews and was located nearby. They were extremely accommodating and responsive. I was able to get two new mouth guards (ready within the hour!) that exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Prisma Dental

This was my first trip to Mexico for dental work. I was a little apprehensive not knowing the procedures of crossing the border. Turns out it was really easy, drive to the border, turn right into parking lot on Texas side. $2 to park and another $1 fee to walk into Mexico (.30 cents for return) Dentist office was a short walk away. Upon my initial exam, I was asked why I wanted a root canal when a filling would suffice the problem.....at the advise of my tech. I choose the $60 filling over the root canal, post, crown route my local dentist advised... The procedure went well with no issues. Very happy with the services received. I had been wanting a tooth implant for a while and was really hesitant to go to Mexico. After much discussion with my husband, I decided to go. Much to my surprise, it was not as difficult as I thought. We were there with Dr Ramos early one morning, had a 3D x-ray done a few blocks away and confirmed that I was a candidate for the implant. It took about 40 minutes for the whole procedure. I have gone for a 2 week follow up for removal of stitches and will return in 4 months for the abutment and after that crown. Very happy so far.

Even though I decided on a different practice, Dr Guerra was extremely helpful throughout. A prompt first-day response, follow-up with excellent explanations and information. His diligence was and is greatly appreciated.

I first went to Stetic in around 2018. I lived nearby and it was convenient. We had already had a disappointing experience with another Nuevo Progreso dentist, so I looked at online ratings, and then I contacted Manny. My wife needed 5 implants. The dentist recommended 8, but we felt we could only afford 5 at the time. The teeth were removed, the mounts were installed, temporary were placed and we went home to wait 4 months for the mounts to heal. When we returned we found that one mount had not set and needed to be replaced. No problem, no charge, but we had to start over on that tooth. By that time it was apparent that the other three the dentist had recommended replacing were going to have to be done as well, so we had them done as well. Everything went great. My wife was very happy with everything and said the procedures had all been pain-free. As we lived only 50 miles away in Brownsville, we made numerous trips to Stetic. I had not been to the dentist in over 30 years but my wife convinced me to have them look at my teeth too. I needed a deep cleaning and a cavity filled. $80. No pain. I was impressed by how much dental technology has changed over time. Another nice thing about the clinic is that you pay only for services rendered that day, not the entire procedure. Recently my wife showed me 3 more teeth. It was obvious they had to go. We no longer live in Brownsville, but now reside in San Antonio, much farther away. I took my wife to the UTSA Dental School, where she was seen by a graduate student. After X-rays and a first consult, the graduate student said she would need to see 3 other graduate specialists and for $600 we could get an estimate. I went home and called Manny. We got an appointment for the next week, which was 6 weeks ago. The teeth were removed, a temporary bridge was installed and we will be returning in June to have the permanents installed. Another thing I found comforting about the clinic is that in the approximately 6 years we have been going, there has been no staff turnover. All the same, dentists and office staff are still there. Everyone speaks English. If you fly in, Manny will pick you up and bring you back, take care of everything. In all the visits we made, I met many patients from all over. I don’t remember meeting any who said they were new, most had been coming for years, which to me was a recommendation in itself. Also, if you have to wait while they are working on your relative or friend, Manny is a great conversationalist and is highly informed on a wide range of subjects. Although our relationship began as a professional one, after this long I consider him a friend. My wife is a, how should I put it? Picky I guess would be the polite way, and she has been totally satisfied with all the work we have done. In retrospect, I wish she had gone the whole mouth, but we are getting there a few at a time. 11 and counting. We highly recommend Stetic and feel lucky to have found them, after previous disappointments.

Fantastic!!!!!!! If America knew about Manny and knew about the care, you would not be able to get an appointment. A friend of mine went to his clinic and told me about her wonderful experience. I thank God she did. The cost is fantastic! but it only starts there. When you contact Manny, he will check Southwest fights and circle the ones that work best, he emails you, his recommendation. He will guide you on what hotel to stay in and when you fly in Manny will pick you up at the airport, take you to the clinic over the border, he will carry you to the hotel and if you need to return to the clinic, he will pick you up again until your treatment is complete. Manny delivers you to the airport when you are ready. I have gone several times over the years and Manny and his team have been fantastic. A couple of weeks ago my front tooth broke that held a bridge that Manny's dentist completed. Manny told me he would warranty their work!!!!!!! I still expected to get a small bill. When I got to Harlingen Texas where Manny picks you up, he rolled out the red carpet and had his usual full-service treatment and at the end, we walked straight out the door. He never even mentioned payment!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!! I gave his team a nice tip but that was all I spent, and it was not expected. I did pay for travel but in America, it would have cost me all my savings. God Bless Manny and his team!!!!!!! This year will be by far easier for me and my family because of them.

Easy, quick, competent and personable. I had an exam, an ultrasonic cleaning and had a damaged filling replaced. I sent an email on Monday, they called me within an hour and set an appointment for the next afternoon. It was an easy walk from the border crossing. Great experience.
