Dental implants are a particular area of expertise at the Seapoint Clinic. Our dentists have been thoroughly trained with some of the worlds greatest experts and have completed hundreds of implant treatments successfully. We have everything we could possibly need onsite to provide implants in a safe and caring environment. We are one of the only dental clinics in Ireland to have a dental CT scanner. This allows us to avoid damage to important nerves in the jaws and to the sinuses. With the CT scanner we can tell before your implant visit whether your bone is suitable, instead of having to undergo a painful investigation under an anesthetic.We have fully computerised planning systems which allow us to perform surgery in a virtual environment to ensure optimum results. Such equipment doesnt come cheap but as we place so many implants we keep the cost to the patient much lower than you would expect for such technological innovation.

These braces usually involve treating the front teeth only and the goal is to give the patient a great smile. We do not try to change the bite to any significant degree and the results we aim for are purely cosmetic. The vast majority of patients only get braces for cosmetic reasons anyway so this is a very popular way of getting a great smile. Invisalign: the clear alternative to regular bracesThis is particularly popular among our adult patients in the public eye who do not want the world to know they are wearing braces. Invisalign involves wearing a set of customised clear aligners. They allow you to brush as normal and to eat whatever you want during treatment. The average treatment time for this is about a year but can be faster where less movements are needed.

Absolutely incredible dental care experience from Dr Colbert today. It felt as if my humble tooth was being aesthetically attended to by the hands of a friendly, medically expert, enormously experienced and caring fine artist…( the treatment involved the bonding of a veneer onto a horrid exposed root on a tooth whose lifespan we wish to extend as much as possible). I massively appreciated the high level of communication and explanation throughout every aspect of this and other recent treatments. I consider myself blessed to have my pearly whites in Dr Colbert’s care, particularly in relation to her observations of and sensitivity to my own personal needs. Beautiful and calming clinic. Massive thanks.

I am a new patient with Clair and was my first time in the Dublin dental clinic set in a lovely Georgian house I found the weighting room nice and immaculately kept the dental surgery itself was excellent and kitted out with the latest technology. Clair Explained every step of the treatment to me. I had to get a numbing injection It’s the first time I never felt the needle Clair is a very skilled Dentist and I can’t recommend her enough thank you, Derek.

I'm going to Dr Colm Smith for about 14 yrs. At first, I took my daughter who needed specialised treatments and now she has beautiful teeth. Then I asked Dr Colm would he examine my teeth I'm so delighted with the treatments that he has done for me and my daughter. We travel from Ballina to Mayo. We also met Mr Chris Bell and have treatments and loads of advice from these two knowledgeable people. We love both of them and Kelly the lovely pleasant nurse...if they had a practice in Mayo I'd b in daily.
