Great dentist who provided very helpful information as well as a thorough examination and deep cleaning, and welcoming staff. A very pleasant experience and the new patient offer was very reasonable for a private clinic.

I had intravenous sedation. I’m an extremely nervous patient and I knew I needed some work on my teeth so I contacted Leagrave Sedation Clinic by email explaining my fear of the dentist. I had the initial consultation and was given a date for my appointment. The anaesthetist was excellent, and put me to sleep, and when I woke, all was done and finished, with no pain at all. I certainly would recommend this dentist If you’re a nervous patient like I was! Very understanding, kind, & compassionate. 10/10.

Well here I am, 11 months into my treatment consisting of almost a full mouth of dental implants. I did months of research before I chose this practice, I knew it was a huge undertaking and commitment and I was extremely nervous. I've had easy appointments and I've had more difficult appointments but throughout my treatment I never felt any discomfort or pain. And most importantly I trusted my Doctors. The chairs that I have my treatment in are out of this world! So comfy I've even nodded off during treatment and had to be poked awake! I'm not saying it's fun but it's as good as it can get at this surgery. I will be grateful forever for the wonderful care and expertise I receive here. I'm almost finished treatment, as I write this today, my implants are about to have the first fitting tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've carefully chosen from the options available, with expert advice and after a whole year I will finally have a perfect smile again. I'm 66 now and a smoker so if I can do it, so can you! It's the best decision of my life. I'd like to say a special thank you to Doctor Aziz, who has looked after me so well, he can make you laugh through the whole process, which is a gift in itself. The prices were completely fair when the standard of treatment is considered. I've never had such professional people looking after my smile before! Thank you to everyone at Cathedral Road Dentist for an unforgettable experience! I wish I could give you 10 stars and a trophy!

Had several extractions and Slav and Rachel were fantastic- reassuring, informative and caring. I’ve not been keen to visit a dentist following a bad experience many years ago but I would recommend this practice without fail.

Outstanding from the outset! From first enquiry to book an advance appointment; analysis of bonding treatment needed to remove a previous dentist’s work and answering my many questions. I am a very anxious patient and can absolutely recommend Dr Mike Powell and his wonderful welcoming team. I had to have treatment today and was really afraid. I need not have been. What I thought would be an unpleasant treatment was, in fact, not as bad as I thought it would be. Mike and his Nurse were so calm, kind and reassuring and I can't praise them enough. The environment is warm, calm and welcoming and above also very Covid safe. Fears just melt away, any doubts dissolve and patients are reassured by the extremely kind and friendly receptionists waiting to greet you.

My first appointment went very well. Examination and consultation very professional and friendly. This was followed soon by a treatment plan and quotation for implant surgery. I look forward to commencing treatment in the near future.

I came into SmileKind for a dental extraction, having waited a year on the Poole Hospital waiting list. I was nervous (of course!) but the lovely Hungarian receptionist was immediately welcoming. Then Sarah took me in - what a warm, kind and empathetic person she is. She explained what the procedure entailed and by the time Sami came in, I was much more relaxed. Sami too was delightful and totally reassuring. I knew I was in good hands and indeed, the procedure was over miraculously quickly and almost painless. He explained what I could expect in the following couple of days and Sarah gave me a very comprehensive sheet of instructions to take away. The next day, as promised, I was phoned to check if I was okay. I was! This practice is truly exceptional in its professionalism, expertise and compassion. I wish them all well.
